Synopsis:A villager, Ram Saran Pandey (Manoj Bajpai), comes to urban Mumbai in order to make a living where he works as a car mechanic. His best friend, Gaitonde (Saurabh Shukla), is the only person he really knows in the city and both are really close. Gaitonde works as a video cameraman, but can`t get the work these days and as a result his wife, Gayatri (Divya Jagdale) refuses to have sex with him, accusing him of being lazy. This creates tension in Gaitonde`s married life. During an incident in the garage Ram Saran meets a newspaper writer, Kaamya (Tabu), whom he develops feelings for. Kaamya is taken by Ram Saran`s innocence and truthfulness and decides to write an article about him which gains him a favourable response in the press. Film director Mahesh Bhatt (Bhatt himself), decides to make a film on Ram Saran`s life and chooses Kaamya to come up with a screenplay. In order to learn about Ram Saran`s life, Kaamya spends more time with him as research for the screenplay and this is where Ram Saran`s love for her grows stronger. Meanwhile Gaitonde`s mate, Tito (Aditya Shrivatsava), has arrived back from Dubai and is living with Gaitonde and his wife. Tito decides to help Gaitonde out by hiring a girl who would be willing to participate in a porno movie, which sells in Dubai. When Ram Saran learns of this he is shocked to find that Gattonde has taken that path and after an argument both make up and carry on with their normal life. But this incident showed a side of Gaitonde, which Ram Saran was never aware off. Ram Saran is then fired from his job after slapping a customer in the face, who insulted his father`s name. Ram Saran, who begins to see Kaamya as someone he can talk to personally, confides this problem to her. Kaamya then tells him not to worry as her script is near completion and that it will bring him some money for him to start afresh. However the wacky forthcoming events in Ram Saran`s life will affect people close to him and will change the thinking ways of an innocent rural man living in the urban jungle...

He has also been seen in the films Tension Mat Le Yaar, My Friends Dulhania and Nobel Peace. Currently, he is in buzz for his role in the Hotstar series, Shoorveer. Mudasir tied the knot with his lady love Saroosh Zargar on July 24 in an intimate ceremony held in a resort in Kashmir. The wedding was a close-knit affair with only friends and family in attendance. The actor is happy to tie the knot in his hometown, Bhaderwah in Jammu & Kashmir.
