Other than that it was worth it, even if I may only play once. I kept praying the dog would make it through to the end and find a new home. This just shows how loyal a dog really is and when they are abandoned like that it can really get to you. The amazing atmosphere and music really helped this adventure along!. A heavy game that brought me to tears. Brilliantly written and if you are a dog owner this is a must play. You'll hug your dog after, guaranteed.https:\/\/youtu.be\/UsOW5jEiBs4. The game description shows:"Till the Dawn, Waiting" tells a compassionate story and glimpses of the struggles and loneliness a pet faces but still remains loyal.---------------Yes, that's all you need to know and all you will "learn" in this "game".I really appreciated the art and style of this little project. The music - i think it's just one keyboard melody - was a little bit annoying. The minigames - search something in a labyrinth - with weird drug-visuals were not very satisfying.I got some problems in one of the last acts - the speech bubbles overlapped or were empty, so i couldn't follow the meaning of the dialogue. Also achievements were broken. What bored me the most was the fact, that the speech bubbles were appearing very slow.It is a little, short novel - not more! Not a game and no simulation as stated in the tags. Maybe you want to get it at a cheaper price and wait maybe if some of the bugs were fixed.. i loved what they went with the story. Really short but it told the loneliness of a dog that was left behind perfectly. i was getting emotionalThen those gameplay sections took me right out of the emotional engagement i had. Nothing that would make one hate a game but it just left a sour taste behind rather than a emotional impact it should have on me. wish the text based parts were longer and more fleshed out.but still i must say give it a shot! There's no "up to you" option so i must go with no~. Disappointing! What a horrible game! The screenshots are misleading becuase most of the half hour (!!!) you run three times through the same white boring blurry maze. The story is also questionable. Why would a bee and a bird know more about pet owners than a dog? Why doesn't his body language match his words? E.g. he says he is scared but stays stiff on the rock almost all the time. Sorry I cannot say anything good besides that I like the looks of the dog..... great story but could of had a bit more to do in the game. This game is very emotional. I don't cry that much when playing games or watching movies, but this one is a tear-jerker. The storyline is very interesting. The only thing that I wish was different is the maze. It seems like the same thing every time. It's very plain, and really doesn't add anything to the story in my opinion. It's also very slow and just drags the game out more if you ask me. I definitely recommend this game though. It's worth the low price.. Till the Dawn, Waiting is a heartwrenching story about an abandoned dog who waits for his owner to return. (Remember Hachiko? Yeah, a little bit like that.)Despite this game being as short and simple as it is (and despite the occasional bug and grammar mistake), this game still managed to make me tear up. I have a dog of my own whom I love with all of my heart, and the fact that the situation in this game is something that happens daily to loyal pets like her breaks my heart. Taking that issue and turning it into an interactive experience could help raise awareness about the problem, which is what I hope this game will succeed in doing, regardless of its ephemerality. That being said: if you ever plan to adopt a pet, please visit your local shelters. There are lots of abandoned four-legged friends in need of homes. Or, if you don't want a pet but you have some money to spare, donate to shelters (or legitimate animal charities). And please - treat animals with respect and kindness.. This is likely the saddest "gaming" experience I've ever had. I say "yes" to recommending the game only because it was a powerful experience, for me, but honestly unless you just want to feel sad for a while I can't actually recommend you play it. See the video link for a fuller review of my experience with the game: https:\/\/youtu.be\/EOOqK0oaJ4M. So i bought this on a whim whilst looking for games that focus on narrative and honestly i was moved by this game. Although short and designed as more of an interactive story than a game I believe that the intended message is loud and clear. I got as far as the storm and couldn't stop crying. The emotions conveyed in this story struck a cord with me as I have a dog I wouldn't dream of parting with.Improvements to the animation wouldn't go amiss and the dream sequences could possibly have my environment assets to add a sense of direction but honestly for the price and the fact that I get the feeling this is a small group project with little funding, i can excuse minor details like that.Overall, the message here is a positive one delivered in a very melancholy fashion. I cried and reflected on the suffering animals must go through in situations similar to that depicted in this game. 7\/10 - Where was Jack when we needed him?
